The amount of non-alcoholic beer I had to buy is shameful (2017/19)
Modified beer and wine bottles
The midsection of one beer or wine bottle is inserted into the other, elongating one while shortening the other. Hidden partially within the space, the audience happenstance encounter encourages them to question what they are seeing: are they just leftover from a private view? But why are they that tall or short? This simple gesture is to make the discarded bottle's meaning more malleable while also challenging its functionality and form. The resulting bottles are stacked and are not sealed back together.
