Two IKEA Benches, scissor jack
This work is an interactive sculpture that challenges audience engagement. Two benches acting as sculptures are installed in front of durational work - however one of the benches has a leg replaced with a scissor jack. Through the indication of the scissor jack addition, audiences will need to negotiate whether the benches are utilitarian and fit for use or a sculpture/artwork object to be observed.
