Electrical plug, concrete & 75W halogen lightbulb, concrete
A plug and a lightbulb are embedded into concrete, robbing them of their utilitarian nature, and forcing their physicality into an art object. The work is also a commentary on the idea of a sculptural object as a whole - the block, the plinth, the stone, etc.
