A ceiling light fixture is electrically rewired and manipulated so it can smash onto the ground. This ‘curated’ object reinterprets a ceiling light fixture’s history, which is contingent on the frame/stage it is viewed. A narrative is created through the other ‘stationary’ ceiling light fixtures within the room. The audience is encouraged to question this seemingly happenstance encounter--why is the wire that long?
